Yorkshire Pudding

Yorkshire Pudding is a dance for four, written by Judith Proctor especially for Southern Star.
Although four man dances were relatively rare historically, they were not unknown.

This image is “The Sword Dancers”, a 19th century woodcut by Joseph Crawhall.  It shows four dancers doing a ‘double under’, and their musician.
